He was born Jan. 19, 1890 in Suamico, son of the late Carl and Emily Giese. Following the death of his first wife the former Lillian Minkel, he married Della Braun in September of 1951.
Survivors are his wife; one son Arthur of Oconto Falls; two sisters, Mrs. John Otrandovec of Lena and Mrs. Ann Popelka of Hayward; one brother, Carl of Saukville. One son, seven sisters and three brothers also preceded him in death.
Mr. Giese farmed most of his life in the Mountain, Breed and Kelly Lake areas. Funeral Services were held Saturday at the Soulek funeral home in Suring, the Reverend Arvid Morey officiating. Burial was in Mountain cemetery.
