 Ferne I. Hobright age 83, of Wisconsin Veterans Home at King died
there early Saturday morning, Sept. 18. Ferne was born April 17, 1916 in
Gillett to the late Halfdan and Hilda Framness. She served in the US
Navy at Farragut Naval Base at Spirit Lake, Idaho during WW11. She
entered Nov. 30, 1943 and received an honorable discharge Nov. 30, 1945.
She married Dr. Howard D. Hobright at Farragut Naval Station in 1945. 
He died Jan. 16, 1976.

She is survived by one son, Bruce (Nancy) Hobright of Stevens Point; one
daughter, Andrea Hobright of Madison; two sisters, Joyce Lockstein and
Elaine Mercer both Gillett; one brother Nester (Dorothy) Framness of
Columbia Falls, Montana. She also survived by five grandchildren and and
nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 21, at 11:00 a.m. at
Boston Funeral Home with the Rev. Dale Oquist officiating. Burial will
be at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery, Gillett. Friends may call at Boston
Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
