Funeral services were held at 1:15 at the residence Wednesday afternoon and at 2 0’clock at the Lena Methodist church. The Rev. David Johnson of Oconto Falls officiated. Interment took place in the Evergreen cemetery at Oconto.
Mr. Halsted was born Dec. 17, 1867 at Lockport, N.Y., and was married to Lavina Bradley of Lena at Oconto on Oct. 10, 1893. The couple has resided in this community for many years.
Survivors are the widow, one daughter, Mrs. J.W. Pardee of Kaukauna; three grandchildren; two brothers, Fred of Swatara, Minn., and Leslie of Green Bay; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Halsted of Milwaukee.
