The deceased was born in Moravin, Austria, May 7, 1856. She came to this country with her parents in 1873 and on January 7, 1879, she was married to Herman Benning. Who preceded her in death two years ago.
After her marriage to Herman Benning they settled in Fond du Lac County where they resided until 1896 when they moved to the town of Morgan, residing on a farm here for 17 years. Then they sold the farm to their son, Oscar and retired to Green Valley.
Their union was blessed with 6 children, 5 sons and 1 daughter. Charles of Luxemberg, Jules and daughter-in-law of Green Bay, Oscar, Herman of Oakfield, one step sister of Vale, So. Dak., eighteen grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, all who were present at the last rites. The funeral was held Monday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Wahl and burial was in the Morgan Cemetery. J.F. O'Neill of Oconto Falls was in charge of arrangements.
