Aged Resident of Oconto Succumbs

Oconto, Wis. - Mrs Fannie Barribeau, 90, died early this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs Fred Pecor, 109 Fabry street, following an illness of three years. She was born in Canada March 2, 1860, and came to Oconto with her parents at the age of seven.

She was a member of the St. Ann society. The body is at the Sheffield funeral home where it may be viewed after Tuesday noon. The Oconto Catholic Woman's club will say the rosary at 7 o'clock Tuesday evening. The parish rosary will be said at 7 o'clock Wed evening and the St Ann society, at 7:30 Wed.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday evening in St Peter Catholic church. The Rev B B Belanger will offer the requiem mass and burial will be in the Catholic cemetery.

Her husband, George Barribeau, died 17 years ago. Survivors are five sons, Joseph, Oliver, and George Jr Oconto, Xavier, West Allis, and Francis, Milwaukee; six daughters, Mrs Melvina Peranteau, Mrs Fred (Gertrude) Pecor, and Mrs Clarence (Clara) Smith, of Oconto, Mrs Harry (Lavida) McLeod, Appleton, Mrs John (Libby) McCoy, Minneapolis, Minn, and Mrs Charles (Margaret) Werth, Burbank, Cal; a sister, Mrs Macy Pecor, Oconto; 30 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren.
