Fred A. Cisar, 85, R1 Oconto died Friday at an Oconto nursing home after a long illness. Born Jan 22, 1895 in Little River, he was a lifetime resident there. He married Elsie Mielke on June 4, 1925 at the First American Lutheran church in Oconto. The couple farmed all their lives in Little River. He was a member of the First Presbyterian church and the Odd Fellows Lodge. He served in the Army during World War 1.

Survivors are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Walter (Ruth) Hermann of Sheboygan and Mrs. Eugene (Shirley) Enderby of Marinette; one son Ken of R-1 Oconto; two sisters, Mrs. Nova Dvorak and Mrs. Delia Montague, both of Chicago; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Friends called at the Gallagher Pinkart funeral home where Odd Fellow services were held Sunday evening. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church, the Reverend John Lyford officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
