Mrs. Truman Russell, 30 died Saturday morning at 11 O'clock at the home of Mrs. Marie Russell, 421 Washington Street. Death followed a lingering illness. Mrs. Russell sustained a cut on her leg last July, followed by blood poison and has been confined to her bed since that time.

The deceased, nee Elizabeth Whiting, was born in the town of Oconto July 29, 1898. Thirteen years ago she was married in Oconto to Truman Russell who survives her. She is also survived by two daughters, Beulah, 12 and Dorothy 10; her father, Jacob Whitting, Breed, Wis; two brothers, Earl Whiting, Gillett, Wis, and Darrell Whiting, Rudyard, Mich.., and five sisters, Mrs. Art Mallien and Mrs. Curtis Colson of Rudyard, Mich..; Mrs. Adolph Duescher, Lena; Mrs. Linden Smith, Pulcifer and Mrs.Morris Clayton Krakow.

The funeral services were held Monday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Joseph's Catholic church, Rev. L. C. Becker officiating. Internment was made in the Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
