GILLETT -Mrs. Harry (Elaine E.) Pawlak, age 77, died suddenly Saturday afternoon, September 4, 1999. She was born December 21, 1921 at Lena to the late Joseph and Clara (Ellman) Wyent. On May 3, 1953 Elaine married Harry A. Pawlak at St. Charles Catholic Church, Lena. He preceded her in death May 21, 1996. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church, Gillett, and the Altar Society. She had been a volunteer at the Gillett Meal site.
Elaine is survived by her brother, Donald Francis Wyent, Gillett; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Orville, and Alvin "Stubie" Wyent; one sister, Agatha Hendricks.
Friends may call at St. John Catholic Church, Gillett, Wednesdsay after 9:00 a.m. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 8, 1999 at the church with the Rev. John M. Gallagher officiating. Interment in the church cemetery.
