The daughter of the late George and Anna (Fait) Wotruba was born July 6, 1919 in Lena. She married Edward G. Kust on June 12, 1943 at Klondike. The couple operated a farm in the town of Brazeau. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1995. She was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenseslaus Church, Klondike and a former member of St. Ann’s Altar Society of the church. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara (Bill) Burr of Oconto Falls, two sons, Rodney (Jackie) Kust of Wisconsin Rapids and Roger Kust of Pound; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lorraine Konkle, Ann Lausmann and Pauline Tomasello, and one brother, Erland Wotruba.
Visitation was held at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman, from 5-8 p.m. Friday with a parish service at 7:30 p.m. There was visitation at the funeral home from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Saturday. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Klondike, with Rev. John Hephner officiating. Burial in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery, Town of Brazeau.
