She was born Oct. 3, 1904, in Oconto, Wis., a daughter of Albert and Helen Brehmer Werth. Esther and her family moved to North Fond du Lac in 1908. She was a graduate nurse of Bellin Memorial Hospital, Green Bay, and was later employed in the Chicago area.
She married Harold R. Koch in River Forest, Ill. He preceded her in death in 1967. Esther then moved to Fond du Lac. She belonged to the Lakeside Chapter of the Hammond Organ Club.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Vanita Werth; and nine nieces and nephews.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband; three brothers, Allen and Paul Werth and Robert Jackson; sister, Myrtle Zoch; one niece, two nephews and two sisters-in-law.
* Services: Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Marach 7, 2005, at Mach Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Anthony J. Farina officiating. Burial will follow in Rienzi Cemetery.
* Visitation: Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, March 7, 2005, at Mach Funeral Chapel. Mach Funeral Chapel is serving the family.
