Esther Stephens SPAULDING

CROOKED LAKE -Esther E. Spaulding, age 84, died Monday afternoon, March 15, 1999, at Woodland Village Nursing Home, Suring. She was born September 6, 1914, in Mineral Point, to the late Marvin and Lula (Holman) Stephens. On December 29, 1948, Esther married Clifford D. Spaulding. He preceded her in death November 1, 1986. She was an elementary school teacher for 44 years, teaching in various schools throughout the state.

Esther is survived by: her son and daughter-in-Iaw: Gary and Connie Wallenkamp, Crivitz; one brother, Gordon Stephens, Oak Creek; one sister and brother-in-law: Joyce and Clarence Stake, Crooked Lake; five grandchildren: Gary (Chris) Wallenkamp, Iron Mountain, MI; Teresa Wallenkamp; Port Washington; Kim (Dan) Sylvia, Marshall, WI.; Jon (Jeanie) Wallenkamp, Wauwatosa; Chad Wallenkamp, Crivitz; 14 great- grandchildren; three step children: Marlin Spaulding; Dennis Spauling; Dawn Spaulding; and two step grandchildren: Bryan (Lori) Mecomber, Green Bay; Nancy Spoden, Oconto Falls.

She was preceded in death by one son, Marvin Pilling and one brother Bud Stephens.

Friends may call at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gil1ett, Friday from 4-9 p.m. and after 9 a.m. Saturday. Funeral I I :00 a.m. Saturday, March 20, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis N. Nelson officiating. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
