She married Ronald Johnson on October 24, 1959, in Menasha, Wisconsin, at the Methodist Church. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Green Bay. She was president and color guard of the Ladies Auxiliary of Oconto. She worked at Wisconsin Tissue in Menasha, Downtowner Restaurant in Oconto, McCormick Home of Ashwaubenon and Encompass Daycare in Green Bay before retiring. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Survivors include six children and their spouses, Ronald and Pepper Johnson, Oconto; Linda and Nick Milokovich, Green Bay; and Nick Milokovich, Green Bay; Rosemary and Robert Wittock, Lena; Christina Johnson, Green Bay; Virginia Franks and her special friend, Tom Thelen, Marinette; John and Nancy Johnson, Little Chute; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers-in-law, Marion Mauritz, Ruth Cimicud, Alice Skenandore, all of Green Bay; Martha and Don Braeger, De Pere; Winnie and Jim Pelky, Oneida; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Russell and Rose Skenandore, Menasha; David Skenandore, Green Bay.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Elvira Skenandore; three brothers, Abraham, Nelson and Norman Skenandore. Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Avenue, Green Bay, from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. The Oneida Singers will begin singing at 6:30 p.m. Thursday. A brief prayer service will be held at 7:15 p.m. Thursday. Friends may also call at United Pentecostal Church, 1708 N. Irwin Avenue, Green Bay, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Friday. The funeral service will be 12 noon Friday at the church with the Rev. Charles Welch officiating. Burial will be in Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
