Edna was born May 14, 1909, in the Town of Howe (How), Oconto County, a daughter of the late Carl and Mathilda (Nitzband) Schuettpelz. She attended parochial school for several years and later the Grignon School in the Town of Howe. On April 11, 1932, she was united in marriage to Clarence Hannemann in Hayes, Wis. Following their marriage the couple lived in Shawano for many years. Her husband preceded her in death on June 19, 1980. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church in Shawano.
Survivors include: one sister, Evelyn Holl of Suring; one granddaughter; several nieces and nephews; her special friend, Charles Harper of Shawano. She was preceded in death by: two sons, Larry and Lwellyn Hanneman; one daughter, Lois; two brothers; one sister.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 30, at 11 a.m. at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service of Shawano with Pastor Fred Zimmermann officiating. Interment will be in Lake Drive Cemetery, Town of Wescott. Friends may call at Schroeder-Mickelson Funeral Service on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services.
