Eileen Margaret Amore,

Eileen Margaret Amore, 83, of Oconto, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Bellin Health Oconto Hospital. Eileen was born February 5, 1930 in Lena to the late John and Mary (Rudolph) Schaefer. Eileen married Douglas J. Amore on May 21, 1966. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2011. Eileen and Doug operated Amore’s Towing together, until Doug’s death in 2011. Eileen enjoyed playing golf and visiting with the girls at coffee. Eileen is survived by daughter Christina (Scott) Exworthy, Oconto; son Craig Taubman, Magna, UT; and five grandchildren Alexandria, Douglas, Bradley and David Exworthy and Jeremy Taubman. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Lydia (John) Blahnik, Frieda (Marvin) Wittkopf, Mary (Stanley) Turek and three brothers, Walter, Harry and Ernie Schaefer. The family will receive relatives and friends at the First American Lutheran Church, Oconto, from 9 to 11 AM Saturday, September 7, 2013. Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Saturday at the church with the Rev. Mary Zupansic officiating. Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery.
