TOWN OF CHASE- Erwin Rosenberg, 76, died Friday evening March 17, 2000 at Bay Shore Pines CBRF, Marinette. The son of Daniel Sr. and Agnes (Belongia) Rosenberg was born August 24, 19223 in Oshkosh. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving with the 292nd Combat Engineer Battalion. On May 3, 1947 he married Althea Noster in Chase. He had been employed for many years at Green Bay Drop Forge until his retirement. Erwin was also a milk hauler for Sobieski Cheese Factory. He was a member of the Suamico VFW Post #9409 and was an avid hunter and trout fisherman.

Survivors include: his wife, Althea; three sons and 2 daughters-in-laws, Phillip Milwaukee, Bruce and Sue, Oconto and Scott and Ann, Little Suamico; three daughters and 2 sons-in-laws, Priscilla and Jerry Druckrey, Pulaski, Susan and Dean Calewarts, Oconto and Cindy Rosenberg, Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren: Sharon Ann, Ashley and Austin Rosenberg, Hailey and Carly Rosenberg, Todd and Ted Druckrey, Jackie Kabiscik, Chanda (Jason) Belts, Josh and Sean Calewarts and Caprice Rosenberg; two great-grandchildren, Kyle and Monte; three brothers and sisters-in-laws, Leslie and June, Sobieski, Calvin and Fran, Oconto and Daniel Jr. and Merle, Little Suamico; and one sister and brother-in-law: Arlene and Leo Matuszewski, Pulaski.

A memorial fund has been established.

The funeral was held Tues., March 21 at St. John's Lutheran church, Morgan, with Pastor Paul Heykes officiating. Burial in the Town of Morgan Cemetery.
