KIRKLAND, WASH – Ethel Pearl Piper Dupuy Stevens passed away
peaceful, at Evergreen Hospital, March 16, 2001, at the age of
102. Ethel was born February 17, 1899 on Kelly Brook Farm, in
Oconto County. She is preceded in death by her daughter
Virginia Dupuy Valley and one grandchild George Cleveland. She
is survived by three daughters, Elaine Dupuy Effenberger of
Sultan, Wash., Betty Dupuy Cleveland of Oconto Falls, and
Connie Dupuy Sawyer of Sultan. Ethel also had 19 living
grandchildren and numerous great and great great
grandchildren.
Ethel loved to play the piano, cook, sew and garden. She was
a remarkable woman whose lifetime spanned three very different
centuries.
Ethel will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Interment took place March 24 at the Chapel of Rest in
Evergreen Washell Cemetery in Seattle, Wash.
An informal memorial service was held Friday, March 23.
