1936 Lena-Mrs. Simon Steffeck, 45, passed away at her home in the town of Lena Monday morning following a brief illness. The body was brought to the Steffen Funeral home and will be removed to the residence today. Funeral services will be held at St. Charles Catholic church here on Thursday morning with burial in the Catholic cemetery. The Rev. E.H. Valssiere will officiate.

Mrs. Elizabeth Steffeck was born in Menominee, Mich, and was married to Simon Steffeck January 27, 1914. The couple have resided on a farm near here since their marriage. Survivors are her husband; her morther, Mrs. Mary Marik, Lena; two sons, Gerald and Abel, at home; and three daughters, Mres. Charles Wise, Lena, and the Misses Genevieve and Alice at home; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Hoida, town of Lena; Mrs. Frank Hoffman and Mrs. John Levash, Coleman; Mrs. Joseph Hyland, Iron Mountain, Mich; and Mrs. Joseph Skarda, Coleman; two brothers, Joseph and James Marik, Lena.
