Edna was born January 12, 1903 at Brookside to the late Fred and Minnie (Bohl) Mittag. She married Arthur Ristow; he preceded her in death. She married Louis "Ed" DePrey; he also preceded her in death. Edna loved flowers and working in her flower garden. She loved spending time with her great-grandchildren and her dog Fluffy.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, Oconto, the Ladies Aid at the church and the Rebekah Lodge.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, LaVerne Ristow, Brookside; grandchildren Cindy (Mark) Rest, Lt. Suamico; Sandy (Dave) Wyngaard, Sobieski; Patti (Greg) Virtues, Lt. Suamico; Pam (Dennis) Bramschreiber, Sobieski; a daughter, Lois Kniess, Green Bay; additional grandchildren Dale Kniess, Cassie VandenHoy, Mark Kniess, Ted Kniess and Tim Kniess all of Green Bay; many great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. She was further preceded in death by her parents, a son, Arlen Ristow; a brother, Alvin Mittag; and a sister, Saderine "Sis" Ristow.
Friends called at the United Methodist Church, Oconto from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, December l4. Funeral service was 7 p.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Frederik Schulz officiating. Burial at Brookside Cemetery. The Gallagher Funeral home, Oconto assisted the family.
