At the age of 68 years and eight months death claimed Edward L. Young at 11 o'clock Tuesday evening at his home, 516 Jones Avenue, following a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 9 o'clock Saturday morning from St. Joseph's Catholic church with the Rev. Fr. L. C. Becker officiating. Interment will be in the Oconto Catholic cemetery.

Edward Young was born Sept. 23, 1867 in Ottawa, Canada. His wife preceded him in death four years ago.

Surviving are the follow: children, Helen, Howard, Leonard and Francis, all of Oconto; Arthur of Crandon; Mrs. Roy Gonion of Menasha; Mrs. Leo Molie of Chicago; Mrs. Lewis O'Connor of Oconto; nine grandchildren, three brothers, Joseph and James, both of Oconto and Sam of Milwaukee, and one sister, Mrs. Leonard Meyer of Channing, Mich. A sister, Mrs. Simon Schuh, and two brothers, John and George, preceded him in death.
