Ella Prochaska, 89 of 115 Maple Lane, Coleman died Tuesday, April 20, 1999 at Bellin Hospital in Greenbay, after a short illness.

The daughter of the late Stephen and Gusta (Sheman) Lentz was born Sept. 1, 1909 in the Town of Pound. She married George Prochaska on Jan. 12, 1932 in Coleman. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Pound until retirement in 1970. Her husband preceded her in death on Aug. 10, 1970. Ella was a member of Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman.

Survivors include four children; George (Janice) Prochaska of West Allis, Jeanne (Cal) Compe of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Betty (Jim) Jashinsky of Coleman, and Jim Prochaska of Rost Lake; eight grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; one brother, Harry Lentz of Peshtigo, and five sisters, Esther Peterson of Arlington Heights, IL, Emma Batjes of Chicago, IL, Ruth Patz of Pound, Edna Maloney of Appleton, and Ida Seilen of Louisiana.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by eight brothers and one sister.

Visitation was held at Rhodes Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 5:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday with a parish wake service at 8:00, p.m. There was visitation at Ss. Francis & Wenceslaus Church, Coleman, from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, the Rev. John Hephner officiating. Interment in St. John Catholic Cemetery, Coleman.
