Edward MALLOY

Edward (Eddie) L Malloy, 52, of Wallkill, NY, died Saturday, August 21, 1999 at home, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Eddie was born on July 25,1947 in Oconto to the late Leo Malloy and Willhelmena (McFadden) Malloy. On Feb 14, 1997, Eddie married Ingred Hegenbart. He was a heavy equipment operator for Local 137, International Operating Engineers, Briarcliff Manor. He was president of Orange County Farmer Museums, Coldenham; Honorary Member of the Walkill Hook, Ladder and Hose Company; a member of the Wallkill Rod and Gun Club; Association of New England Ox Teamsters, Inc, and the Wallkill Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 962. Eddie served in Vietnam receiving the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Eddie enjoyed hunting trips all across the United States and Canada. He also enjoyed fishing, faqrming and gardening, collecting antique tractors and raising four Brown Swiss Oxen.

Survivors include his mother, Wilhelmina Malloy of Wallkill, NY; his wife, Ingrid (Hegenbart) Malloy ; his brother, James Malloy and children Tracy and Kristen of Wallkill; one sister and Brother-in-law, Marilyn and Joseph Tinelli and Children, Joseph Leo and Jenny of Quartz Hillo, CA; one great-nephew, Michael Malloy and one great-niece, Nicole Malloy of Wallkill, NY. Eddie also is survived by many relatives in the Oconto area and Wisconsin and Califonia, and three step-children, Joseph, Bryan and Tina LoCicero all of New York.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo, on May 14m 1984; his maternaol grandparents, Arthur and Violet McFadden of Oconto, and his paternal Grandoparents of NY.

Mass was at Our Lady of Lke Chapel, Rte. 52, Town of Newburgh. Burial was at St. Charles Cemetery, Gardine, NY. Millapough Funeral Home.

Attending the funeral of their nephew from Oconto were Florence Hayes and Eleanor Bendt.
