She was born September 1, 1906 in Brookside to Albert and Amelia (Kersine) Gohr. As a young woman she moved to Milwaukee where she lived most of her adult life and worked as a housekeeper in private homes. She moved back to the area in 1995. While living in Milwaukee she was an active member of Luther Memorial Chapel of Shorewood and most recently was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel She is survived by her many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, eight brothers: Otto, Albert, Emil, Walter, George, Edward, Arthur and Harry Gohr and two sisters, Lillian Gaertig and Hattie Gohr.
Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 10 a.m. Thursday until the time of services. Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Leonard Wildauer officiating. Burial in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Milwaukee.
