He was born July 3, 1902, to the late Frank and Mathilda Knope. In November of 1927 he married Olive Margaret Olson. She preceded him in death in November, 1980.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law; Roger and Gerry Knope, Oconto Falls; six grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Harry and Georgia Knope, Rockford, IL; Bill and Alice Knope, Clintonville.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Olive; one son, Ervin Charles; eight brothers and two sisters.
Private graveside services will be held in the spring at Elm Grove Cemetery. Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski is assisting the family.
