She was born June 26, 1903 in the Town of Underhill to the late August and Emelia (Spreeman) Kobs. On September 22, 1925, Emma married Elensen C. Koeppen at White Clay Lake with Pastor Braun officiating. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett. She was also a member of the LWML. Emma enjoyed gardening and was fond of her flowers.
Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Jeanette Koeppen Lambrecht, Gillett; nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Lorraine Radke, Oconto Falls.
Emma was also preceded in death by her two sons, Wilbur and Eugene; five brothers, Paul, Emil, Robert, Herbert and Arthur Kobs; and one sister, Elsie Wolff and a special niece, Esther Brunette.
Friends called at the Kuehl Funeral Home, Gillett. Funeral services were 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2000 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Town of Gillett, with Deacon Ralph Beversdorf officiating. Interment in the church cemetery. ,
