Erwin Jack PRASSER

Long-time Maiden Lake resident, Erwin Jack Prasser, 71, born August 3,
1928, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, died Tuesday November 23, 1999. He was
preceded in death by parents Erwin and Ceil (LeVine) Prasser, and
brother Charles Prasser. Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; five
children, son John (Lynn) Kuss, Mary (Allan) Gardebrecht Sr., Bonnie
(Chuck) Nygard, Carol Prasser, Robert (Cheri) Prasrer, and eleven
grandchildren, one sister Nancy (Gene) Leffingwell, and one brother
George (Delores) Prasser. Jack served three years in the Navy at Great
Lakes, was a funeral director at the Prasser Funeral Home for 19 years,
President of Kiwanis Club, member of the Legion Post, managed Connor
Forest industries Hardware Store in Lakewood; President of the Paul
Bunyan Riders Snowmobile Club, President of the Chamber of Commerce of
Lakewood, church organist at St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church,
active in hunting fishing, and loved his family and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 26 1999 at St. Mary of the Lakes
Catholic Church, Lakewood, Wisconsin, from 10 a.m. until noon. the
funeral liturgy was celebrated at noon followed by a meal with the
family. Burial was in the St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church
cemetery. Suminski Funeral Home assisted the family.
