Ellen Marie "Shadow" (Juza) Phillips, Casco, died Monday morning, September 4, 2000, as a result of an accidental drowning in Lake Michigan.

The daughter of Allan and Eleanore Juza was born October 17, 1969, at Green Bay, Wisconsin. Ellen married Leonard Phillips on May 1, 1993, in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Shadow wanted to be a loving helpmate to Leonard and a devoted, full-time mother to the boys, taking them fishing and teaching them about the love of Jesus. We will remember her humor and quick wit and constant smile. She was loved by all who knew her.

Shadow is survived by her husband, Leonard; her sons, Elijah, Nathan, and Isaiah; her parents, Allan and Eleanore Juza of Green Bay; her brothers, Mark, Wade and Christopher; father-in-law, Wendell Phillips, Sturgeon Bay; mother-in-law, Ronnie Lynn Hull of Shell Knob, MO. Shadow will be sadly missed by her family and many friends who were very dear to her.

Visitation was held at Faith Lutheran Church, 2335 S. Webster Avenue, Green Bay, Wednesday September 6, 2000, from 9 to 11 a.m., with services at 11 a.m. Proko-Wall Funeral Home assisted the family.
