Edward J. Denowski, 89, of Beaver, died Monday evening, March 6, 2000 at his home.
The son of the late Frank and Matila (Petroski) Denowski was born September 10, 1910 in the Town of Beaver. He was married to the former Estelle Burdell on June 1, 1946 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Wausaukee. The couple operated a farm in the Town of Beaver. Edward served in the U. S. Army and was a member of the Amvets and American Legion. He was also a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Crivitz.
Surviving are his wife, Estelle Denowski of Rennes Health Care Center-East, Peshtigo; three sons, David (Sheila) Denowski, Ronald Denowski and Larry (Nancy) Denowski all of Beaver; three grandchildren, Michelle (Jared) Kinziger of Lena; Chad and Tracy Denowski of Beaver; one brother, Stanley (Sophie) Denowski of Porterfield, and one sister, Margaret Banaszak of Crivitz. He was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.
Friends called at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman from 5-9 p.m. Thursday. There was a wake service at 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Donald Burkart officiating. Military rites were held at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial in St. Leo Catholic Cemetery, Pound.
