Elmer J. Bader 87, Coleman, died Monday March 12, 2001 at Rennes Health Care, West, Peshtigo. He was born on April 10, 1913 in Dykesville to the late Louis and Ida (Bouchonville) Bader. On January 22,1936 he married the former Angeline Salewsky in Coleman. Together they farmed in the Coleman area. Elmer then went to work at Chadwicks and later at Packerland Woodworking. He belonged to the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local Union #1063. Elmer enjoyed fishing, hunting, the outdoors, and the Green Bay Packers.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Angie; seven children Janice Jashinsky, West Bend, Shirley (Roger) Konop, Gillett, Mary Jane (Mark) Kosmal, Oconomowoc, Gary Bader, Green Bay, Nancy (Jack) Sjoberg, Oconomowoc, Jim (Jill) Bader, Pound, Diane (Chris) Deprez, New Franken; 17 grand- children, and 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers Clarence (Janette) Bader, Coleman, Harris (Inez) Bader, Two Rivers; one sister, Virgil Greason, Coleman; one sister-in-law, Laverne Clement, Coleman; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Donna Bader; one granddaughter, Jessica; one grandson, Mark; two brothers Cyril and Cletus Bader. Friends called at Ss. Francis, and Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Coleman on Thursday, March 15, from 9:30 a.m. until time of the funeral. Mass of Christian Burial was 11 a.m. at the church with Father John Hephner officiating. Burial at St. John's Cemetery, Coleman. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Coleman is assisting the family with arrangements.
