Elmer Jashinsky, 83, of W10331 W. 16th Rd., Coleman, died Friday, January 8, 1999 at Sharpe Care, LTD, in Oconto Falls .
He was born March 4, 1915 in the Town of Pound to the late Gottlieb and Martha (Kobus) Jashinsky. He was married to the former Edna Kowalski on July 19, 1941 in the Town of Brazeau. Elmer was employed for Harvester and American Motors in Milwaukee and then worked for the Village of West Milwaukee until retirement in 1976. The couple resided in Milwaukee and also in Pound. He was a member of Section Eight Baptist Church in the Town of Pound.
Survivors include his wife, Edna; one sister, Nettie Kowalski of Peshtigo, and one brother, Roman Jashinsky of Coleman, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Visitation was held at the Section Eight Baptist Church, Town of Pound, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Ronald Hoffman officiated with interment in the First Baptist Cemetery, Pound.
The Rhodes-Charapata funeral home, Coleman, assisted the family with arrangements.
