He was born April 8, 1899 in Clintonville and operated the Jannusch Supper Club at Manawa at the time of his death. Previous to the time he located in Manawa Mr. Jannusch managed the Gillett Legion Arcade for about 15 years, operated the Casha Club between Gillett and Oconto Falls and before going to Manawa operated a business in Marion. His many friends in Gillett were shocked to hear of his sudden death on Saturday and we join them in extending our deepest sympathy to the family. Mr. Jannush was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church, where funeral services were held on Monday afternoon. Burial was in the Graceland cemetery at Clintonville.
Survivors include the widow, Marion, three daughters, (Lullia) Mrs. Gerald Stern of Milwaukee; (Mary Ann) Mrs. Carl Herreid of Rockford, Ill. And Patricia at home; one son, Rolland Jannusch of Milwaukee; five brothers, Leo and Louis of Clintonville, Ed and Frank of Marion and Ted of Idaho; three sisters, Mrs. Freda Marerum(?) of San Francisco, Calif., Mrs. Arnold Schulke of Manawa and Clara Jannusch of Milwaukee. There are five grandchildren.
Those who attended the funeral on Monday from Gillett and nearby communities were: Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ollman, Mr. and Mrs. John Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Linzmeyer, Mrs. Emil Eklund, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schmidt, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Schmidt and Mr. and Mrs. C.L. Baldwin, all of Gillett; Mr. and Mrs. Bernon Oilman, Green Bay, and Mrs. Canutson(?) , Clintonville.
