Funeral services for Mrs. Frank Korotev of Gillett were held on Sunday afternoon at the Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. W. S. Carr officiating. The funeral rites of the order of the Eastern Star of which the deceased was a member were said by the lodge officers at the graveside. Pallbearers were Messrs E. Whiting, E. Winters, E. Suring, Tony Pasterski, Chas. Vanhoven and Harry Serier.

Mrs. Korotev who was born Edla John was well known in Oconto Falls as she was a sister to Truman John of this city. She also became a member of the W.E.S. here ten years ago before the Gillett chapter was organized. Miss Grace Flowers, Mrs. Ila Foster, Mrs. Chas. Plier, Mrs. Chas. Sampson, Mrs. J.W. Waldron, Mrs. H.J. Plier and Mr. and Mrs. E.H. LaPorte were among those who attended the rights.
