Edward .J. Hrabik, 58, Oconto Falls, died Saturday morning, August 26, 2000 at a Green Bay hospital the day after having a brain aneurysm.

He was born January 25, 1942 in Oconto Falls to Joseph and Lorraine (Coopman) Hrabik. he grew up in Oconto Falls where he attended St. Anthony's Catholic grade school and later public schools, graduating from high school with the class of 1960. As a young man he entered the U.S. Army National Guard and served in the Guard and Reserves for over 28 years. On July 31, 1962 he married Arwyn Merrill in the state of Washington. Ed lived in Oconto Falls for most of his life where he was employed at [he local Scott Paper Co. for over :30 years. He was presently employed at Marinette Marine. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Oconto Falls American Legion Post.

He is survived by three sons and one daughter in-law, Edward J.J Jr. and Pat Hrabik. Peewaukee; Darryl Hrabik, Milwaukee; Donald Hrabik, Valders; four grandchildren; five brothers, Ray (Hope) Hrabik, David and twin brother, Dan (Diane) Hrabik, all of Oconto Falls; Joe (Joan) Hrabic Jim Hrabik all of Oconto; close friend, Dorothy Doyle, Oconto Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Robert and a nephew, Steven Hrabik.

Friends called at Jones Funeral Service in Oconto Falls after 11 a.m. Tuesday until the time of services. Funeral services 1 p.m, Tuesday at the
