Ervin
Ervin Hugo Delzer, 97, of Abrams, passed away Wednesday, May 11, 2016, with
family by his side, at Atrium Post Acute Care of Oconto Falls. Ervin was
born February 1, 1919 in Abrams to the late Julious and Minnie (Peters)
Delzer. He married Lorraine "Toots" Byng on February 23, 1946. She preceded
him in death on March 24, 1999. Ervin lived in Abrams his entire life. He
worked on the family farm and then for Foster Construction gravel pit in
Wisconsin and Michigan. Ervin enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and most
of all, loved spending time with family and friends.
Ervin is survived by a son, Frederick Delzer, Stiles; brother, Arthur
Delzer, Abrams; granddaughter, Mitzer (Timothy) Harnois and two great
grandchildren Ryder and Colden Harnois. He was preceded in death by a
sister, Edna Holowinski and sister-in-law Ruth Delzer.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Gallagher Funeral Home,
Oconto, from 4 to 8 PM Sunday, May 15, 2016. Visitation will continue on
Monday, May 16, from 10 to 11 AM at Calvary Lutheran Church, Abrams. Funeral
services will be conducted 11 AM Monday at the church with the Rev. Andrew
DeGier officiating. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery. Online condolences
