The son of the late Charles and Emily Gross was born March 26, 1907 at Pound. He married Lillian Czech in 1985 and was a foreman for Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee. He was a member of th Pioneer Baptist Church, Pound.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Gross; one daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jack Henning of Muskego; one grandson, one great-granddaughter, one great great-granddaughter and one stepson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
