Edward was accidentally shot by his cousin Edmun Fischer, son of Charles Fischer, Sunday about noon while hunting, and was brought to the Oconto Falls hospital where he died early Monday morning. The body was taken to the O'Neill funeral parlors and later to the residence. Both the Fischer families live about 2 ½ miles east of this city on highway 22. Both boys were carrying .22 rifles, but the trigger on Edmun's gun had no guard and accidentally discharged, the bullet striking Edward in the back. Edward graduated from the state graded school at Stiles four years ago.
His mother preceded him in death nine years ago. Survivors are his father and three brothers Ernest 17, Erick 15, and Herman 13, and one sister, Mrs. Joe Koeback, Milwaukee.
