Ervin F. Hansen TOWN Of CHASE - Ervin F. Hanson: 75, died Wednesday morning, March 8, 2000 at his home following a long illness. He was born to the late Charles (Eubele) Hansen on December 13, 1924 in the Town or Suring. Ervin was a U.S. Army veteran Of W.W.II and had served as a medic in India for 2 1/2 years. He was a Bronze Star Recipient. On December 29, 1951 he married the former Anita Delzer, in Morgan. Until his retirement he had worked as a carpenter and was a member of the American Legion Post #300, Gillett. Ervin loved working in his wood shop and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a very loving and caring husband, dad and grandpa.

Survivors include: his wife, Anita; two sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Connie, Pulaski; Mark and Beth, Sobieski; two daughters and sons-in-law; Nancy and Thomas Jagodzinski, Cecil, Judy and Terry Hanstedt, Pulaski; seven grandchildren: Allen and Karen, Jackie, Josh and Jason, and Cora and Logan; one sister: Beatrice VanAlstine, Plover; three sisters-in-law; Alice Hansen, Gillett, Elsie Hansen, and Mary Hansen, both of Oconto Falls; nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, three brothers: Elmer, Clarence and Carl; and one brother-in-law: Robert VanAlstine.

The funeral was held Fri., March 10 at St. John Lutheran Church, Morgan, with Pastor Paul Heykes officiating. Burial in the Town of Chase Cemetery.

Marnocha Funeral Home, Pulaski, served the family.
