Ernest E. 'Ozzie' Ozorowicz, 76, 5624 Chicken Shack Rd., Oconto Stiles, passed away on January 19, 2001, in Pahrump, Nevada. He had been working on his eldest daughter's home when our Lord took him away to eternal life.

He was born on October 26, 1924, near Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from Kingston High School, Kingston, MI in 1942 where he had excelled on the basketball, track and debate teams. On November 9, 1945, he took Marion Lee Dickinson, Cass City, MI to be his wife. For most of his life, Ozzie was a self-employed business man, both while in Michigan and later on in Wisconsin. He moved his family to Stiles in 1963. He had owned the Alamo Club, the Stiles Custard Stand, Ozzie's Sport Shop, as well as construction, logging and metal recycling businesses. He was also a builder and a millwright. His last business venture was A.A.Trailer Co. at Stiles, which was sold in 1998 and moved to Green Bay by the new owner. Ozzie enjoyed fishing, hunting, travel, flying airplanes, operating equipment, building and fixing things, helping others, and most of all...talking to people. He is dearly missed by his loving family.

A couple of years ago, he and Marion had settled into retirement in Pahrump, NV, 70 miles west of Las Vegas. He had been building a new home for his eldest daughter, Shannon. He enjoyed working, and was hard at work up till the very last moment.
