Earl E. Eckert, 69, 824 William Charles Court, died Friday evening, February 15, 1980 at a local convalescent home. Mr. Eckert was born July 20, 1910 in Oconto to the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Eckert. He was employed by Gateway Transportation for 27 years, retiring in 1970. He was a member of Washington Lodge No. 21, F & A M.

Survivors include his wife, Camilla; one daughter, Mrs. Lloyd (Doris) Paluch, Oconto; one stepson, Richard Campshure, Appleton; one stepdaughter, Mrs. James (Barbara) Wicker, Green Bay; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Belongia, Mrs. Mabel Vandenack and Mrs. Beatrice Heroux, Green Bay; 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Grace Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. today. Funeral services will be held at I p.m. Monday at the church, Rev. William Osick officiating. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery. Lyndahl Funeral Home was is charge of arrangements.
