Elizabeth A. Chadek SCHULTZ

Elizabeth A. Schultz, 86, Oconto Falls died April 7, 2000 at an Oconto Falls Nursing Home. She was born January 8, 1914 at Lena to the late Jerry and Josephine (Chadek-Witak) Chadek. She married Joseph Schultz April 21, 1931; he preceded her in death in 1977. The couple lived most of their lives in Two Rivers until retiring to Oconto in 1966. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and Gold Star Mothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Diana Graykowski and special friend Ron, Manitowoc; Patricia Grainger and special friend Ron, Two Rivers; two sons, John (Mary) Schultz, Oconto; Robert (Jean) Schultz, Oconto; a brother, Ernie (Agnes) Witak, Peshtigo; three sisters, Marie Rosenthal, Manitowoc; Mary Treichel, Green Bay; Anette (Jerry) Degeneffe, Green Bay; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son Richard who died in the Korean Conflict; two brothers, Arthur Witak and Fritz Witak; a sister, Julia Petrashek; a son-in-law, Stanley Graykowski.

Friends called at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto where the Gold Star Mothers held a service. A parish wake service was also held. Mass of Christian Burial was 2 p.m. Tuesday at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Joseph Site with Rev. David C. Ruby officiating. Burial at Oconto Catholic Cemetery.
