OCONTO - A lifetime resident of the Oconto area, Mrs. Emma Couillard, 88, of Route 2, Oconto, died Sunday at Riverside Nursing Home after a short illness (Jan 28, 1979).

The former Emma Hanna was born Aug. 7, 1890, in the Town of Pensaukee. She was married to Guy Couillard on Nov. 28, 1911, at Marinette. He died Nov. 22, 1959. She was a member of the Couillardville Community Center.

She is survived by a son, Hugh, of route 2, Oconto; a sister, Mrs. Florence Swaer of Sun Prairie; a grand daughter, and four great-grandchildren. Three sisters died previously.

Friends may call at the Gallagher-Pinkart Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Tuesday. Services will be held there Wednesday at 1 p.pm The Rev. John Lyford will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
