Funeral services for Miss Emily Coopman were conducted at St. Anthony's catholic church by the Rev. P.J. Grosnick on Monday morning. Interment took place in the local cemetery, the casket being borne to its resting place by the five brothers and a brother-in-law, (Dave Young) of the deceased lady.

Miss Coopman was born in Bay Settlement, Brown County on September, 1883, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Coopman. She became an invalid at the age of four years and has been a patient sufferer ever since. About twelve years ago, she moved to the Marinette County home, where she passed away on Saturday, December 21.

The Coopman family moved from the farm home in Bay Settlement when Miss Coopman was nineteen and took up their residence on another farm in the town of Morgan. The parents, five brothers and a sister preceded Miss Emily in death. The survivors are Charles, Felix, John and Frank Coopman of Oconto Falls, and another brother Joseph Coopman of Menasha. She is also survived by four sisters, Mrs. Victor Vanhoof of the State of Washington, Mrs. Ed Young of the town of Morgan and Mrs. Dave Young of the town of Oconto Falls.

While death is always sad and the parting is always hard, in a case of this kind, it brings a sense of relief to know that years of suffering for a patient soul have been brought to a close. She is released from earthly pain and sorrow and who would call her back.
