Elsie J. Micoley, 93, of the Town of Spruce, died Wednesday March 24, 1999, at Sharpe mCare LTD in Oconto Falls.
She was born to the late Frank and Josephine (Evrard) Compe May 10, 1905 in Casco, Wi. Elsie married Paul Micoley August 28, 1928. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, formerly known as Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Spruce.
Survivors are her husband, Paul; two sons, Robert (Norene), Oconto Falls; Arlyn (Charlotte), Green Bay; one daughter, Annette (Harvey) Peters, Milwaukee; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rose Marie DeVaney, Chicago; and Lena Paulu, Green Bay. Elsie was preceded in death by five sisters and one brother.
Friends called at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Town of Spruce, Saturday March 27, 1999 from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Funeral Mass was conducted 11 a.m. at the church with Father Harold Beernsten officiating. Interment at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Town of Spruce. Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, Lena assisted the family.
