The former Eva Billon, she was born in Oconto. She was an active member of the American Legion auxiliary and the Oconto and Catholic Woman’s clubs. Her husband was a well-known local jeweler and preceded her in death on December 8, 1926.
Her body was taken to the MacQueen chapel, and was to be returned to the residence this afternoon. The rosary will be recited there at 8 pm tonight and Tuesday. Funeral services will be held in St. Joseph church at 9 am Wednesday morning, and burial will be in the catholic cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George Classon, Weyauwega, Wis., and three sons, Webber of Lake Zurich, Ill., William of Oconto and Roland of West Bend, Wis.
