Eva May Burger PAULSON

Eva May Paulson, 90, Gillett, formerly Suring, died November 8, 1998 at Community Memorial Hospital in Oconto Falls.

She was born May 10, 1908 in Suring to the late Marian P. and Elsie (Johnson) Burger. Eva May married Walter Paulson June 14, Z33. She was Walter's bookkeeper for his logging business for many years. Eva May had a Manager's License in Cosmetology and was still working as a beautician until recently. She had also been a girl Scout Leader in Suring. Her Membership at Suring United Niethodist Church was very important in life. She had belonged to the United Methodist Women for over 50 years, served as a Sunday school teacher as long, and was active in many of the Church's functions.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Stanley (Sally) Paulson of Suring; two sisters, Athel (Petie) Heave of Eureka Springs, AK; Maxine Jones of Oconto Falls; two sisters-in-law, Rosalie Burger and Doris Paulson loth of Suring; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews.

Eva May was preceded in death,by her husband Walter on September 18, 1992, also two grandchildren. The family received relatives and friends Friday, November 13, 1998 at Suring United Methodist Church prior to funeral services at the Church at 11 a.m. Pastor Scott Crandall officiating. Burial was in Maple Valley Lutheran Cemetery. Gruetzmacher Funeral Home in Suring was in charge of arrangements.
