Rites For Ellen McDonald At Oconto Tuesday 
 

Miss Ellen B. McDonald, 68, former superintendent of Oconto County rural schools, died at 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Services were held at the Galligher Funeral Home on Tuesday afternoon, with the Rev. John Verhage of St. Paul's Evangelical church in charge, the burial in Evergreen cemetery.

Miss McDonald was born in the town of Maple Valley, Oconto county, June 4, 1875. She was on the faculty at the state training school at Reedsburg, Wis., until her return to Oconto in 1910 when she was elected county school superintendent and served in that capacity for 12 years.

She later became a probation officer for the county judge's office, and then joined the county welfare department, working there until recently.

Immediate survivors are three nephews and a niece McDonald Fulton, Dallas, Texas; Neil Fulton, Dayton, Ohio; Robert Fulton, Wausau; and Mrs. Robert Bish, Bardale, Oklahoma.
