Edna M. Baenen, 78, 5722 Chicken Shack Rd, Oconto, passed away Sunday, February 14, 1999 at Sharpe Care LTD, Oconto Falls. Edna was born August 27, 1920 in Abrams to the late William and Mae (Cool) Beaucock. She married Edward Baenen on September 28, 1940. He preceded her in death on, September 4, 1989. Edna loved working in her garden and working with flowers. Edna is survived by her son John "Jake" (Bette) Baenen of Stiles; one sister, Genevieve McAllister of Stiles; three step-granddaughters, four step-great-grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Jeanie, an infant son, William, and one brother-in-law, Frances McAllister.

Visitation was held at the Gallagher Funeral Home, Oconto, from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, at the funeral home with the Rev. Kevin Tarvid officiating and burial at Brookside Cemetery.
