Schacht - Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 p. m. in the Hansen and Onton funeral home for Edwin A. Schacht, 56, Marinette county tavern proprietor who died Thursday. The Rev, Kurt Geyer will officiate and burial will be at Forest home cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the Peshtigo American Legion post, of which he was a member.

Mr. Schacht served in the infantry of Company K during World War 1. Born in Marinette April 26, 1894, he spent his entire life in the county with the exception of the time he was in the Army. His survivors are three brothers and four sisters. They are Paul and Robert Schacht and Mrs. Adolph Gloff of the town of Peshtigo, August and Mrs. John Pearce of Peshtigo, Mrs. Augusta Hoff of San Francisco, Cali. and Mrs. Elsie Nelson of Oakland, Cali.
