Funeral services were held Thursday for Mrs. Doris Adams, 81 of 540 Congress St. Oconto, who died early last Tuesday morning at Oconto Memorial hospital after a brief illness.

The former Doris Zielke was born July 8, 1899 in Glidden, and was united in marriage with John Adams who preceded her in death My 9, 1969. She was a former employee of Wisconsin Dried Egg Co., in Oconto.

Surviving her are one brother, Ted Zielke and two sisters, Mrs. Martin (Lenore) Berger and Mrs. Jack (Idella) Taylor, all of Oconto, also one grandson, John Jacquart of Lansing, Mich. and one great grandson. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Mabel and Ramona.

Jerry Finn officiated at final rites at the Crooks funeral home. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery.
