Donald V. Steeno, 68, of 17407 Riggens St., Townsend, WI, died on
September 3, 1999, in Green Bay. He was born on September 4, 1930, to the
late Alfred and Lillian (Dionne) Stenno in Howard. He lived in the
Pulaski/Howard area until 1993 when he moved to Townsend.
Donald served in the U.S. Marine Corps and received an Honorable
Discharge. He married Elizabeth (Betty Waskowiak) on August 30,1952, at
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Howard. He worked for Alwin Mfg.
Co. in Green Bay.
Donald is survived by his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Townsend; his children,
Dennis and Diane Steeno, Pulaski; Lou Ann and Charles Saunders, Herndon,
VA; Bobbie and Patrick Johnston, North Platt, NE; Richard and Jamie
Steeno, Howard; Roger Steeno, Green Bay; James and Susan Steeno, Little
Chute; joseph and Lisa Steeno, Krakow; John and Jodi Stenno, Green Bay;
nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Freeman and
Janet Steeno; Linus and Miki Steeno; three sisters, Eunice and Tom
Lawniczak, Marcie Kramer, Shirley and Michael Marinan; sister-in-law Gerie
Steeno, all of Green Bay. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and
friends.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Kenneth; a brother
Wilbert; and a sister, Joyce Fournier.
The family will receive friends at the Pfotenhauer Funeral Home West, 1145
Cardinal Ln., Howard, on Tuesday, September 7 1999, from 4-8 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time
of service at 10:00, at the funeral home, with Father William Swichtenberg
officiating. Burial in Elm Grove Cemetery.
