Donald "Shorty" Tank, 62, Oconto, died early Monday morning, December 6, 1999, at Oconto Memorial.

Donald was born February 13, 1937 in Green Bay, to LuVerne (Wilson) Tank-Gray and the late Frederick Tank, Sr. He was employed at Packerland Packing for over 30 years before his retirement. Donald proudly served in the Army National Guard, was a member of the American Legion Post 11 and the Eagles Club-Aerie 401.He found great joy in riding his bicycle around town, snomobiling and watching football and wrestling. Donald was loved by everyone who met him.

He is survived by his mother, LuVerne Gray, Oconto; five brothers and sisters-in-law, Glenn and Cindy Lee Tank, Black Creek; Pat Tank, Oconto; Dave and Cindy Tank, Robert and Debbie Tank, John and Bonnie Tank, all of Green Bay; one sister and brother-in-law, Lil and Gordy Vandermoss, Suamico; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frederick, Sr.; and three brothers, Roger Tank, Michael Tank, Frederick Tank, Jr.; and his stepfather, Robert Gray.

Friends called at Malcore Funeral Home, University Ave. at Baird St., Green Bay. Eagles Club-Aerie 401 Service and a parish wake were held. Funeral service was 11 a.m. Friday at Ss. Peter and Paul Church with the Rev. Thomas J. Farrell officiating. Burial at Nicolet Memorial Gardens.
